South Dakota High School Softball - Lincoln edges West Central

The Lincoln Patriots softball team scored 9 runs and held the host West Central Trojans to 7 in the Patriots non-league win on Tuesday.
The Patriots now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aberdeen Central for a Class AA battle on Friday, May 9. Lincoln will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-11.
With the loss, West Central moves to 17-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Madison (Madison, SD) to confront the Bulldogs in a Class A battle on Monday, May 12. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 7-6.
