The Northfield Norsemen softball squad (Wabash, IN), was routed 11-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN)

With the triumph, Northwestern advances its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Manchester (North Manchester, IN) to meet the Squires in a Three Rivers test on Wednesday, May 7. The Squires go into the test with a record of 9-8. Manchester won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Caston (Fulton, IN)

The Norsemen (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Whitko (South Whitley, IN). The Wildcats go into the Three Rivers test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Whitko was routed by Southwood (Wabash, IN), 5-1, in a league test.
