Maine High School Baseball - Hermon holds off Brewer

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Hermon Hawks baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Brewer Witches.
The Hawks (3-2) will now prepare for their game against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Crusaders go into the Class B North game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, John Bapst Memorial was overwhelmed by Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME), 10-0, in a league game.
Next, the Witches play the Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME) in a Class A North game, on Friday, May 8. Brewer will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 0-7 record after their 14-2 league loss to Camden Hills (Rockport, ME).
