Indiana High School Baseball - Marquette Catholic wallops River Forest

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Marquette Catholic Blazers baseball team scored a nice 17-6 win over the River Forest Ingots.

The Blazers (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Tri-Township was overwhelmed by Hebron (Hebron, IN), 6-2, in a league game.

Next, the Ingots play the Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 8. River Forest will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Wolves go into the game with a 7-9 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Hobart (Hobart, IN).
