The Payson Lions lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Spanish Fork Dons to 4 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now hold a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Herriman for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 8. Payson will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Spanish Fork falls to 5-9 on the year. The Dons host West Jordan (West Jordan, UT) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 8. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 3-7. West Jordan lost 4-3 in their recent league challenge against East (Salt Lake City, UT)
