With the triumph, Monroe improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Trojans host Bedford (Temperance, MI) to play the Kicking Mules in a Southeastern - Red game on Thursday, May 7. The Kicking Mules enter the game with a record of 6-4.

The Maples now hold a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Blissfield for a non-league game on Saturday, May 9.
