The Normal University Pioneers crushed the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights baseball team by a count of 12-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pioneers now have a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Normal West for a non-league match on Saturday, May 7. Normal University will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 league win over Peoria (Peoria, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-10.
The Knights (7-9) will now prepare for their match against Normal West (Normal, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 14-10 record. In their last match, Normal West ran past Peoria (Peoria, IL), 10-0, in a league match.
