The St. Charles Cardinals held off the visiting Olentangy Berlin Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hilliard Darby for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 10.
The Bears (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Freshman Opponent (, ). The enter the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Freshman Opponent was nudged by Fenton (Bensenville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
