The Vernon Hills Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hersey Huskies to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars now have a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Niles North for a Central Suburban North game on Tuesday, May 10. Vernon Hills will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 19-11.
The Huskies (24-8) will now prepare for their outing against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 16-11 record. In their last outing, Glenbard East was tipped by Barrington (Barrington, IL), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
