The Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) volleyball tipped the visiting Natick Redhawks (Natick, MA), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Newton South upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Lions host St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA) to face the Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, May 9. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 13-1. St. John's Prep won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA)
The Redhawks now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wellesley for a Bay State outing on Tuesday, May 10.
