The Islip Buccaneers lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Hampton Bays Baymen to 5 in the Buccaneers league win on Saturday.

The Buccaneers (6-8) will now prepare for their match against West Babylon (West Babylon, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 11 II match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, West Babylon prevailed over Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY), 12-11, in a non-league match.

The Baymen (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Southampton (Southampton, NY). The Mariners go into the Section 11 II match with a 1-11 record. In their last match, Southampton was overwhelmed by Mattituck-Southold (Mattituck, NY), 21-11, in a league match.
