In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Lockport Porters soccer squad scored a close 4-0 win over the Plainfield Central Wildcats.
The Porters (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Chargers go into the SouthWest Suburban Read battle with a 3-17 record. In their last battle, Stagg by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 7-0, in a league battle.
The Wildcats (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Tigers go into the Suburban Prairie battle with a 9-11 record. In their last bout, Joliet West by Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL), 6-0, in a league bout.
