In Saturday's non-league test, the host Holy Name Green Wave lacrosse squad scored a good 14-3 victory over the Canfield Cardinals.

The Green Wave now have a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walsh Jesuit for a Region 5 test on Wednesday, May 11. Holy Name will face a Warriors squad coming off a 8-6 league loss to Rocky River (Rocky River, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 8-8.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Southeast Pirates (Ravenna, OH) in a Region 6 test, on Monday, May 9. Canfield will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Pirates come into the test with a 6-4 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Hickory (Hermitage, PA).
