Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), 13-7 in a non-league battle.

The Corsairs now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Wauconda for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 10. Carmel will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-12.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) in a North Suburban battle, on Wednesday, May 11. Lake Zurich will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Scouts come into the battle with a 13-2 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL).
