The Huntley Red Raiders lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the host Conant Cougars to 3 in the Red Raiders non-league win on Saturday.
The Red Raiders (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Cary-Grove (Cary, IL). The Trojans go into the Fox Valley match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Cary-Grove was overwhelmed by Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL), 8-6, in a non-league match.
The Cougars (2-13) will now prepare for their match against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Bison go into the Mid Suburban match with a 1-14 record. In their last match, Buffalo Grove was overwhelmed by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 16-2, in a league match.
