Utah High School Softball - Altamont bounces San Juan

May 7, 2022: Blanding, UT 84511

Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host San Juan Broncos (Blanding, UT), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Longhorns now sport a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Duchesne for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Altamont will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over North Summit (Coalville, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 24-6.

With the loss, San Juan falls to 10-14 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to North Summit (Coalville, UT) to face the Braves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 2-24. North Summit lost 16-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Ben Lomond (Ogden, UT)
