Illinois High School Softball - Armstrong falls to Marshall

May 7, 2022: Armstrong, IL 61812

In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Marshall Lions softball team scored a nice 14-5 win over the Armstrong Trojans.

Coming up next, the Lions battle the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 7. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Wooden Shoes enter the outing with a 15-6 record after their 16-5 non-league loss to Mattoon (Mattoon, IL).

The Trojans (9-13) will now prepare for their outing against Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Cornjerkers enter the Vermilion Valley outing with a 7-12 record. In their last outing, Hoopeston was routed by Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL), 16-9, in a league outing.
