Indiana High School Softball - Lakeland holds off Concord

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Lakeland Lakers (LaGrange, IN) and the visiting Concord Minutemen (Elkhart, IN), witnessed Lakeland's softball squad tip Concord by a count of 6-4.
The Lakers now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Eastside for a Northeast Corner match on Tuesday, May 10. Lakeland will meet a Blazers squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Garrett (Garrett, IN). The Blazers record now stands at 15-0.
With the loss, Concord moves to 10-6 on the season. The Minutemen host Northridge (Middlebury, IN) to meet the Raiders in a Northern Lakes match on Monday, May 9. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 10-4.
