The Fremont Eagles softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights to 6 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Fremont improves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Edgerton (Edgerton, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 2-3. Edgerton won 13-3 in their recent non-league game against Holgate (Holgate, OH)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints (Fort Wayne, IN) in a Summit game, on Monday, May 9. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Saints come into the game with a 6-10 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Fairfield (Goshen, IN).
