Grand County Red Devils (Moab, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Providence Hall Patriots (Herriman, UT), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carbon for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Grand County will battle a Dinos squad coming off a 25-0 non-league win over Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT). The Dinos record now stands at 21-5.

With the loss, Providence Hall falls to 14-11 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT) to battle the Soaring Eagle in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7. The Soaring Eagle enter the challenge with a record of 6-13. Juan Diego Catholic lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Ben Lomond (Ogden, UT)
