The Herscher Tigers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Morris Redskins to 2 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Herscher improves its record to 17-6 on the year. The Tigers host Manteno (Manteno, IL) to clash with the Panthers in a Illinois Central Eight game on Monday, May 9. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 16-2.
In their next game, the Redskins clash with the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 7. Morris will attempt to improve on its 17-13 season record.
