Indiana High School Softball - Southwood falls to Jay County

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Jay County Patriots softball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Southwood Knights.

Coming up next, the Patriots battle the Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 7. Jay County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 8-4 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Tipton (Tipton, IN).

The Knights (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Whitko (South Whitley, IN). The Wildcats enter the Three Rivers outing with a 3-9 record. In their last outing, Whitko was routed by Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN), 12-7, in a league outing.
