The Western Panthers routed the host Mishawaka Cavemen softball squad by a final score of 10-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tipton (Tipton, IN). The Blue Devils come into the Hoosier test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Tipton was routed by Northwestern (Kokomo, IN), 5-2, in a league test.
The Cavemen (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Goshen (Goshen, IN). The RedHawks come into the Northern Lakes game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Goshen was routed by Northridge (Middlebury, IN), 5-3, in a league game.
