The crowd at Sunday's non-league match between the Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) and the visiting Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), saw Holy Cross's softball squad achieve victory over Scranton by a count of 17-1.

The Crusaders now sport a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Wayne for a Lackawanna 3 match on Monday, May 8. Holy Cross will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 23-1 league loss to Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Scranton falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Delaware Valley (Milford, PA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Monday, May 8. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 1-9.
