The Central Indians baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Smithville Warriors to 7 in the Indians non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians (10-15) will now prepare for their match against North Kansas City (North Kansas City, MO). The Hornets go into the Class 6 District 8 match with a 2-23 record. In their last match, North Kansas City was overwhelmed by Platte County (Platte City, MO), 7-6, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (15-15) will now prepare for their match against Chrisman (Independence, MO). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 12-14 record. In their last match, Chrisman tipped Van Horn (Independence, MO), 16-9, in a non-league match.
