The Chrisman Bears baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Van Horn Falcons to 9 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears (12-14) will now prepare for their match against Smithville (Smithville, MO). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 15-15 record. In their last match, Smithville was overwhelmed by Central (St. Joseph, MO), 14-7, in a non-league match.
The Falcons (7-16) will now prepare for their match against Truman (Independence, MO). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 19-14 record. In their last match, Truman was overwhelmed by Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO), 3-2, in a non-league match.
