South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 13-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 19-6 on the season. The Sabres travel to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, May 10. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 13-12. Alexander Central won 11-2 in their recent non-league test against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC)
With the defeat, Hickory Ridge falls to 13-12 on the season.
