The St. Mary's Knights baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Martin County West Mavericks to 2 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights (12-3) will now prepare for their match against Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Rabbits go into the Tomahawk match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Wabasso was overwhelmed by Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN), 5-3, in a league match.
The Mavericks (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop gained a win over Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN), 12-2, in a league match.
