The Midland Trail Patriots baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Webster County Highlanders to 3 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots (10-15) will now prepare for their match against Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 9-12 record. In their last match, Greenbrier West gained a win over Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV), 23-0, in a league test.

With the defeat, Webster County falls to 0-14 on the season. The Highlanders host Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 8. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-16. Meadow Bridge lost 23-0 in their recent league test against Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV)
