The Yellow Medicine East Sting got by the host Ortonville Trojans baseball team by a count of 7-6 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Sting now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Minneota for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 9. Yellow Medicine East will face a Vikings team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 6-4.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the MACCRAY Wolverines (Clara City, MN) in a Camden game, on Thursday, May 9. Ortonville will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Wolverines go into the game with a 4-7 record after their 4-3 league loss to Renville County West (Renville, MN).
