With the win, Walter Johnson upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Churchill (Potomac, MD) to battle the Bulldogs in a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Thursday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-7.

With the defeat, Seneca Valley falls to 10-13 on the season. The Screamin' eagles host Frederick (Frederick, MD) to battle the Cadets in a non-league test on Thursday, May 9. The Cadets come into the test with a record of 5-15. Frederick won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Winters Mill (Westminster, MD)
