Next up, the Mavericks battle the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 10. Marvin Ridge will attempt to advance on its 20-0 season record. The Pioneers come into the match with a 10-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC).

With the loss, Porter Ridge drops to 4-10 on the campaign.
