Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 13-9 in a league battle.

The Patriots now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 14. Albemarle will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 10-1.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a Jefferson battle, on Friday, May 10. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 12-0 record after their 18-2 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA).
