Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT), 19-0 in a league battle.

The Nighthawks now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Milford for a South West battle on Thursday, May 9. Newtown will clash with a Green Wave squad coming off a 17-9 league loss to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-10.

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a South West battle, on Thursday, May 9. Notre Dame Catholic will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Rebels come into the battle with a 9-3 record after their 21-2 league win over Stratford (Stratford, CT).
