The South Fayette Lions lacrosse team scored 19 points and held the visiting Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions to 2 in the Lions league win on Tuesday.
The Lions (16-1) will now prepare for their game against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 2-13 record. In their last game, Hempfield Area was overwhelmed by Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA), 23-15, in a non-league game.
The Centurions (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rebels go into the WPIAL 2A 1 game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Seton LaSalle prevailed over Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 15-10, in a league game.
