Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT), 13-5 in a league test.

The Bears now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Haddam-Killingworth for a non-league test on Friday, May 10. Stonington will face a Cougars squad coming off a 12-11 league loss to Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 10-3.

In their next game, the Colonels face the Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 9. Ledyard will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Centaurs come into the test with a 4-9 record after their 7-6 league loss to Waterford (Waterford, CT).
