Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bay Path RVT Minutemen (Charlton, MA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Leicester for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 9.

With the loss, Bay Path RVT falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Advanced Math & Science Academy (Marlborough, MA) to battle the Eagles in a Colonial Large challenge on Friday, May 10. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-1. Advanced Math & Science Academy won 11-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Littleton (Littleton, MA)
