The Cardinals now sport a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host Clearview for a Lorain County 8 match on Tuesday, May 7. Brookside will face a Clippers squad coming off a 21-4 non-league loss to Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Clippers record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Wellington falls to 0-5 on the campaign.
