The Cardinals (19-3) will now prepare for their battle against Geneva (Geneva, OH). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Geneva was routed by Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH), 12-5, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Claymont Mustangs (Uhrichsville, OH) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 9. Edison will attempt to move on its 18-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH).
