The Clyde Fliers routed the visiting Margaretta Polar Bears softball squad by a count of 6-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Fliers (18-6) will now prepare for their battle against Carey (Carey, OH). The Blue Devils go into the non-league battle with a 7-7 record.

The Polar Bears now sport a 16-9 record. They play next when they travel to Elyria Catholic for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 8. Margaretta will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 17-5.
