De Soto Wildcats (De Soto, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Turner Golden Bears (Kansas City, KS), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 8-8 record.
With the loss, Turner falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Lansing (Lansing, KS) to battle the Lions in a United Kansas challenge on Wednesday, May 8. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 6-8. Lansing won 14-1 in their recent league challenge against West (Topeka, KS)
