Indiana High School Softball - Speedway gets by Indianapolis Scecina Memorial

The Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) softball nipped the visiting Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders (Indianapolis, IN), 8-7 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Sparkplugs (8-11) will now prepare for their bout against Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Tigers go into the Indiana Crossroads bout with a 11-6 record. In their last bout, Triton Central held off Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter (Indianapolis, IN), 16-2, in a league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Warren Central for a non-league bout on Friday, May 10. Indianapolis Scecina Memorial will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 0-12.
