Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Stewartville Tigers (Stewartville, MN), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Komets now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Century for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 8. Kasson-Mantorville will face a Panthers squad coming off a 8-1 league loss to Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Stewartville falls to 12-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to St. Peter (St. Peter, MN) to face the Saints in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 8-6.
