The South Hunterdon Eagles softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Lawrenceville School Big Red to 2 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, South Hunterdon improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Holy Cross (Delran, NJ) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league game on Saturday, May 11. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 8-7.

In their next game, the Big Red clash with the Mount St. Mary Academy Lions (Watchung, NJ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 9. Lawrenceville School will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 7-7 record after their 5-4 league win over Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ).
