The Scotia-Glenville Tartans softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Niskayuna Silver Warriors to 11 in the Tartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Scotia-Glenville moves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Tartans travel to Broadalbin-Perth (Broadalbin, NY) to play the Patriots in a Section 2 Foothills game on Wednesday, May 8. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 7-8. Broadalbin-Perth won 13-1 in their recent league game against Johnstown (Johnstown, NY)

In their next game, the Silver Warriors play the Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue game, on Wednesday, May 8. Niskayuna will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Flying Horses come into the game with a 7-10 record after their 2-1 league win over Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY).
