The South Ridge Panthers nipped the visiting Proctor Rails softball squad by a final score of 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Floodwood (Floodwood, MN). The Polar Bears go into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record.
