The Ballard Bruins baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Floyd Central Highlanders to 0 in the Bruins non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bruins now own a 26-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bullitt East for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Ballard will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY). The Chargers record now stands at 20-9.

With the defeat, Floyd Central drops to 7-9 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Seymour (Seymour, IN) to clash with the Owls in a Hoosier Hills test on Thursday, May 8. The Owls go into the test with a record of 12-3. Seymour won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Whiteland (Whiteland, IN)
