In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Bethel Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 16-0 win over the Bunnell Bulldogs.
The Wildcats (12-1) will now prepare for their game against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bobcats go into the Southwest game with a 11-1 record. In their last game, Brookfield knocked off Pomperaug (Southbury, CT), 9-3, in a league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT) in a Southwest game, on Monday, May 12. Bunnell will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 12-2 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT).
