In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Glenn Bobcats baseball team scored a close 8-4 win over the Birch Run Panthers.
The Bobcats (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Valley Lutheran nudged Carrollton (Carrollton, MI), 12-2, in a league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 12. Birch Run will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 3-9 record after their 12-1 league loss to Lakeville (Otisville, MI).
