The Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now hold a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they host Christ Our Rock Lutheran for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Brownstown/St. Elmo will play a Silver Stallions team coming off a 11-2 league win over Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL). The Silver Stallions record now stands at 11-8.
